Heat offers double page spread of gossip and revelations from the celebrity world. It also is a big user of using subheadings and small scale pictures of the article aswell to add to the large scale ones which are usually unprofessional camera snaps from paparazzi. We want to use a mix of camera snaps aswell as professional snaps of the artist or band involved. This way we see them in action aswell as adding to the pull of an exclusive interview.
It also uses colours prodominately is used to add to this atmosphere of bright lights and glamour. It is used as an interesting idea, it being a juxtapostion. You have this idea of celebrities lives being perfect but you see them in a usually painful or hard period of their lives, hence there inclusion in the magazine. We are not going to be a magazine which condemns bad music, rather one who venerates world class musicians.
