FHM Analysis
FHM is an international magazine that is targeted at the mens lifestyle audience. It started in 1985 under the name For Him, this has now changed to FHM (for him magazine).
The big 'FHM' word/ logo in the top left corner aims to clearly show the brand that is FHM. It is in clear bold red writing that stands out and makes the viewer clear they are buying a quality magazine not just the regular ones on sale. The imagine on the right side of the front page, with writing on the left side going down, this gives the customer a taster of what is inside/ There is clear bold writing saying 'shows you the ropes!' with a red arrow pointing to the image, this shows the viewer what the main subject is.
However this is not a music magazine, we can gain knowledge and ideas from this magaizne front page. The ideas of a image to the right and writing to the left with an arrow pointing to the main story/ subject, is a good idea as it would show the customer/ viewer what is in that weeks issue of the magazine.
